LET ME TELL YOU MY STORY…
It all started when I left my job working as a barista in a cafe and became a contract financial advisor for a profitable finance company.
The pay was promising, but it left me in the “hustle mentality” feeling overworked, anxious, and exhausted. I felt like a hamster running on a wheel. So much energy wasted, yet I felt like I was going nowhere.
And to top it all off, finance was NOT something I was passionate about.
Instead, I wanted to do something inspiring, something creative, something that allowed me to connect with others and felt truly…well, me.
The only problem was, I didn’t know where to start.
BUT FORTUNATELY, I WAS ALWAYS A CREATIVE PERSON.
I had taken courses in web development before, and spent many hours learning code and laboring over pixel-perfect designs. But hundreds of job applications later, (no, that’s not an exaggeration) I had been unsuccessful in trying to find employment that worked for me.
I had a million questions running through my head.
